Mt. Cootha

Last weekend we went exploring around Brisbane in our new car. We stopped on top of scenic Mt. Cootha to see the view of Brisbane city below.

Australia has beautiful botanical gardens everywhere. We stopped at the Planetarium and Botanical Gardens at the bottom of Mt. Cootha. The great thing is that all these magnificent gardens are free to wander around in. We spent the entire afternoon exploring all the different gardens, the tropical rainforest, the fern room, the bonzai room, the Japanese garden (picture below), the herb garden, a geodesic dome housing jungle plants, a pond where we saw a ducks, a turtle and eel and much much more.
