One of our Aussie mates works with a Canadian girl and decided to have a dinner party so that we could meet. Since we were all from Canada we must get along with each other.... well not so much really. The other Canadian was from Winnipeg and not really all that friendly or captivating. But the dinner party was fun anyways. Our friends are always the best hosts. They made us a big roast for dinner with gravy and delicious roasted veggies, and of course a veggie dish for me :)
The Aussies sure love their wine over here. Every time we go over to their place we leave our apartment saying "we're not going to drink over there tonight" but we always end up having at least a glass or two and usually more. They have a favorite drinking game here called "Never Ever" where you go around the circle and each person has to say I've never ever..... and if you have actually done that then you have to take a drink. You end up going through a lot of wine very quickly playing this game which always makes for an intereting night. This night I actually remembered to bring my camera and take some pictures of our new friends over here. We met them at the Storey Bridge Hotel bar by our apartment about 1-2 weeks after we first arrived here. They are such great people and we are so lucky to have made such good friends so soon after we moved over here. So here are some pics of us having a good time together :)

Aww nice to see and hear that you are having a good time with fellow canadians! We are all well and haven't caught you online for the last lil while. I hope you are both well and wee I hope you are more careful when buying Tig's hairgel!! (or so he says you bought it!) apparently the birds either really like it or really don't like it!
