Spring time is here! These pretty purple flowering trees are everywhere right now, including outside the front of our apartment complex, and there are fragrant smelling flowers out in full bloom. The weather is starting to get much warmer lately. Last week was a scorcher, with everyday getting almost up to 30C already and it's not even summer yet! Our apartment is conviently west facing so we get all the afternoon and evening sun in our place which makes it very warm in the evenings. We finally had our air conditioner fixed this week but we are trying to save it for the real heat of the summer. I'm afraid if we start using it now, we will have it on for months on end and it won't have as much of a cooling effect when we really need it. It's going to be a hot one this year!
