At the top of this look-out point was this really cute and quaint little cafe.
Stopping for a picnic lunch at one of the many beautiful parks in the GoldCoast hinterland, Numinbah Valley. Todd is enjoying his strawberries with his invetive carrot stick chopsticks. We saw a catfish nest in the river and this cow having a fresh drink of water.

Springbrook National Park's Natural Bridge waterfall. This was one of the most beautiful waterfalls I have ever seen.
The waterfall comes plumetting down through an arch into a deep pool of water into a cave that bats and glow worms inhabit. Todd went for a dip into the cold water but I couldn't bring myself to get in, maybe later on in the summer when the water warms up a bit.
The picture below is of the waterfall from above going down into the cave.
Canopy of trees in the rainforest.

My those are beautiful pictures!! You seem to have a photographic eye, Wee. How long and what vehicle was your foray up the Gold Coast?? The waterfall is so gorgeous. From the sounds of how hot it is right now, you may be making another trip to just cool off Wee!
oh yes and FIRST POST BEOTCH!
also likely other kinds of beotch too but won't go into that now.
Love you and miss you too
Mamaev
very nice pics - especially the red thing that Todd seems to have dug out of his nose...
ouch!
The waterfalls look great, hopefully Todd brought the appropriate attire for swimming?!
UnkaJ
and the appropriate attire is NOT a speedo tig!!
ooh pretty! I'm not finding any full body shots of you two...lots of pics tho. :/
Wouldnt it be a litter of catfish...and not a nest?
I truely am mom.
Just to clear up the confusion about the gay swim team in Montreal. Todd was not parading himself around in a blue speedo on the streets of downtown Montreal.
And yes UnkaJ, Todd did have appropriate attire for swimming that wasn't a speedo. He has not started wearing them to my knowledge...
